Try this crispy parmesan basket filled with rich parmesan cream, Milano salami slices and fresh thyme. A gourmet starter perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients:
1 pack 100g Tagliofresco Milano Salami
300g grated parmesan
50g all-purpose flour
50g butter
500ml milk
Fresh thyme leaves
Preparation
Make four 30g mounds of parmesan on baking paper, flatten and bake at 200°C for about 5 minutes until golden. While hot, shape over inverted bowls to form baskets and let cool.
Prepare the cream by melting butter, whisking in flour, then gradually adding warm milk. Cook until thick, then stir in parmesan. Fill baskets with the cream, top with 2-3 slices of Milano salami and garnish with fresh thyme and a crispy parmesan shard.
