Crispy puff pastry squares filled with creamy crescenza, olives and Milano salami – a perfect appetizer ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
1 rectangular puff pastry sheet
15 slices Milano salami
200 g crescenza cheese
100 g green and black olives, pitted
1 tbsp honey
extra virgin olive oil
sesame seeds
Preparation
Preheat oven to 190°C. Place puff pastry on a baking tray lined with oiled parchment paper. Mix honey with 1 tbsp water and brush over the pastry. Cut into 15 squares, prick the centers and sprinkle edges with sesame seeds. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Top each square with a spoonful of crescenza, olive slices and a rolled slice of salami. Garnish with fresh thyme or marjoram and serve warm.
