Hot Dog with sausage, cheese sauce and tortilla chips

A tasty hot dog with grilled sausage, creamy cheese sauce, and crunchy tortilla chips. Quick, easy, and delicious!
1 hot dog bun with sesame
1 sausage
ketchup
25 g tortilla chips
For the cheese sauce:
15 g butter
75 ml milk
1/2 tablespoon flour
40 g Emmental cheese
salt
Start by making the cheese sauce: melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then pour in the warm milk, add the flour and a pinch of salt. Whisk constantly until the sauce thickens, then remove from the heat and stir in the diced Emmental until fully melted and creamy.
Now move on to the hot dog: slice the bun in half and toast it under the grill until crispy. Grill the sausage for about 10 minutes, turning it often. Spread the cheese sauce on the bottom half of the bun, add the sausage, top with ketchup, more cheese sauce, and crushed tortilla chips. Serve hot and enjoy!
